Angélica, A Poesia Dos Anjos do Chico

| Nos anos 60, ir para Santos de carro tinha só duas opções: Estrada Velha ou |
| Via Anchieta. Ir para o Guarujá era um barato, porque exigia que se pegasse |
| a balsa, também conhecida por Ferry-Boat. |
| Ainda não havia as rodovias dos Imigrantes e, principalmente, a chamada |
| Piaçaguera-Guarujá, que ligava a cidade de Cubatão à do Guarujá através |
| de um macio caminho sobre quilômetros de manguezais, que era um paraíso |
| dos moleques que caçavam caranguejo para vender nas margens da Anchieta. |
| Foi nas primeiras idas ao Guarujá que descobri uma cidade chamada Vicente |
| de Carvalho, que ficava próxima à Ilha Barnabe, que de alguma forma dava |
| um charme especial ao nosso popular Barnabé. A placa era famosa: Vicente |
| de Carvalho e Ilha Barnabe adiante! |
| A ilha era um natural motivo de gozação, mas a minha curiosidade maior ficou |
| para o nome Vicente de Carvalho, e acabei descobrindo que o cara havia |
| sido um grande escritor e poeta de Santos, que dentre várias obras, tinha um |
| longo poema chamado Pequenino Morto. |

| Pequenino Morto era a história de um pai, que perdera um filho ainda jovem, |
| e se recusava a acreditar na sua morte, mesmo já repousado o corpo no |
| devido caixão, mas o que mais me chamou a atenção no poema, além da |
| recusa do pai em acreditar que o filho morrera, foi a repetição sonora do |
| fragmento “Tange-o sino, Tange…”. |
| Além da descrição do texto, o som da frase dava a idéia de “Anjo” (anje + O) |
| extraída naturalmente do som do verso, o que deu ao poema uma espécie |
| de Onomatopéia Angelical. |

| Passado algum tempo, e abandonadas as expedições juvenis ao Guarujá, |
| certo dia, numa Feira Hippie, simpatizei com um estranho alaúde, que possuia |
| uma pequena caixa de ressonância, um braço enorme e curiosas 17 cordas |
| reguladas por três cravelhames. |
| O que mais me chamava a atenção no instrumento musical era o som que o |
| instrumentista tirava dele insistentemente: “Tange-on, tange-on, tange-on“. |
| Era o mesmo som do poema Pequenino Morto, do Vicente de Carvalho, na |
| forma de Mantra Angelical, comum à contracultura da época. |
| Minha vida me enveredou para os lados da composição musical, onde ganhei |
| uma razoável fama, com outros poemas e sons, mas aquela estranha |
| associação mântrica do poema do Vicente, com o som do alaúde estranho, de |
| alguma forma ficou em minha memória, que simpatizava com Anjos. |
| Eu pertencia a uma família com tradição filosófica socialista, embora papai, um |
| famoso historiador, não nos furtasse o aprendizado dos demais conceitos |
| sociais para justificar à sua postura socialista, pois qualquer conceito só se |
| permite ser escolhido quando se conhece o seu inverso. |
| De alguma forma, os jornais fizeram com que a minha fama ficasse alternando |
| entre o socialismo e o nacionalismo, do qual virei um ícone em virtude do |
| impacto que uma feliz composição minha causara no povo, o que me permitiu |
| aparecer várias vezes na televisão. |
| Nunca entendi direito porque o papai proibia eu e os irmãos de ficarmos |
| assistindo televisão, embora insistisse na presença de uma na casa. |
| Vivíamos um período que suponho difícil, pois os militares haviam tomado |
| as rédeas do país em conflito com toda aquela imprensa que me apoiava |
| nas canções, mas de forma confusa, pois ora me tornavam um ícone do |
| Nacionalismo, ora lembravam da minha formação familiar Socialista para |
| combater aos militares. |
| A família ficara marcada por uma posição Socialista Moderada. Muito mais |
| conceitual do que ativista, pois papai não era um homem dado a esses abusos |
| populares, em virtude da sua constante sede pelo conhecimento, que com o |
| passar dos anos nos torna cada vez mais prudentes. |
| Por outro lado, além de toda aquela festa que a imprensa fazia com o meu |
| nome, havia uma cobrança de muitos grupos ativistas para que eu me unisse |
| a eles nas manifestações, quando, no fundo, o que eu mais queria era continuar |
| fazendo as minhas canções e vivendo a vida prudentemente. |
| Acabei tendo de sair do Brasil por alguns meses, imaginando que, após o |
| retorno, aquele tipo de engajamento a fórceps houvesse diminuído entre os |
| grupos ativistas, mas piorara. De alguma forma acabei indo visitar a uma |
| ativista, que queria conversar comigo acerca de uma colega, jornalista, cujo |
| filho havia desaparecido em 1968, provavelmente sequestrado por grupos |
| de militares de caça aos comunistas. |
| Fui até o endereço da mulher. Era um prédio de apartamentos, e o dela |
| ficava alguns andares acima do térreo. Quando eu pedia informações ao |
| porteiro do prédio, houve uma grande explosão no edifício. Sem perder mais |
| tempo com qualquer pergunta me mandei de lá rapidinho. |
| No dia seguinte fiquei sabendo que a explosão ocorrera exatamente no |
| apartamento da mulher com quem eu estaria conversando minutos após. |
| Deixei toda aquela poeira baixar, continuei compondo as minhas músicas e, |
| curiosamente, aquele velho som, comum às minhas folias no Guarujá, que |
| fizeram com que eu conhecesse Vicente de Carvalho, e o Pequenino Morto |
| com o seu “Tange-o sino tange-o sino…”; associado ao som repetitivo do |
| estranho alaúde do hippie, começaram a conversar mais com os meus anjos. |
| Precisava saber o porque daquela insistência da harmonia repetitiva na minha |
| cabeça. Consultando um dicionário, descobri que, tanto a repetição de uma |
| harmonia fixa, quanto o nome do estranho alaúde era Angélica. Finalmente |
| entendera porque os meus Anjos Interiores se manifestavam diante daquele |
| evento de conjunções sonoras poéticas e instrumentais. |
| Foi quando recebi a visita de uma jornalista, cujo nome era Zuzu Angel, que |
| me contou a sua história. Aquela mesma que seria contada pela mulher ativista, |
| caso não houvesse ocorrido aquela explosão no edifício; que chorava a |
| ausência do filho desde 1968 e, a exemplo do que Vicente de Carvalho havia |
| me dito em seu Pequenino Morto, se recusava a crer que o filho tivesse |
| morrido, pedindo a minha ajuda, como se eu, com a minha simples condição |
| de poeta, pudesse ajudá-la numa missão muito mais apropriada a um detetive |
| do que a um compositor musical. |
| No entanto, aquela soma de sentimentos poéticos e melódicos anteriores, |
| associados ao recente enredo semelhante, adquirido após a conversa com a |
| jornalista, ficaram perambulando em minha cabeça por alguns dias. |
| Foi quando, certo dia, ao passar em frente à igreja São Bento, em Sampa, |
| escutei uns cantos dos monges vindos da igreja. Embalado pelo som do velho |
| companheiro escolar, o Latim, acabei ficando curioso o bastante a saber do |
| que se tratava aquele evento religioso. |
| Estávamos na época do chamado Círio Pascal, e fui informado que era um |
| ritual dos monges Marianos, de visitar às demais congregações de monges, |
| entoando aqueles cânticos referentes à Páscoa Católica. |
| A coisa pegou mesmo quando me disseram que aquele conjunto de cantos |
| tinha o nome de Angélicas. Foi como se todos os Anjos, anteriores e recentes, |
| se unissem em minha cabeça fermentando a inspiração de um novo poema, |
| pois não podemos esquecer que os monges Marianos estão relacionados ao |
| nome Maria, que, a exemplo da Zuzu Angel, também teve um famosíssimo |
| filho torturado e morto: Jesus. |
| Na música, não poderia faltar o som do Alaúde Angélica, nem a Fixação da |
| Harmonia Angélica, e muito menos os Pequeninos Mortos do Vicente de |
| Carvalho, da Zuzú Angel e da Santa Maria. Dessa soma de sentimentos e |
| conceitos, nasceu: |

| Em todas as estrofes coloquei a figura da mulher cantando, já de olho numa |
| Rima de Eco para o segundo verso da última, que deveria ser: |

| Entretanto decidi não colocar assim, pois detesto entregar o ouro, pra outro |
| Malandro assim, de “mão beijada”! |
| Como, na letra, não sobrou argumento para o Vicente falar do seu Pequenino, fiz com que Ele cantasse sobre o seu filho pelo drama da mulher Zuzu Angel. Basta reparar no texto. O filho não é o dela, mas o do narrador. Como a composição deu origem até a um filme, preferi calar sobre esse detalhe,que mais uma vez passou despercebido pela crítica. |

| encontrar uma capa do meu LP Almanaque, achar a letra da música e |
| reparar ao lado. Tem uma Angélica lá…. |

Se você tiver um texto bom, não é difícil, caso o queira, transformá-lo num bom poema, que consiste apenas numa outra forma de distribuir o conteúdo sintático do texto normal, com as orações dos períodos sintáticos funcionando como versos.
Em linhas gerais é esse o procedimento que a Versificação estuda. Por questões de equilíbrio estético é que os poetas se preocupam, ou não, com a Métrica, que é a quantidade de Sílabas Poéticas do verso.
Experimente pegar um texto seu e fazer, inicialmente, o que sugeri acima. Caso goste da brincadeira, comece a viajar pelo cabeçalho deste site, nos ítens de Ciência Poética e Glossários Poéticos.
Perceberá que não é tão difícil assim quanto supõe.

Essa é uma informação totalmente nova para mim, pois só tive alguma noção do termo Angélica estar relacionado aos Marianos uma única vez, em 1983, conversando com um frei beneditino, conforme citei na postagem.
Depois disso nunca mais fui atrás do assunto, já que o Chico tem muitas outras músicas que merecem igual atenção.
Gostei dessa sua participação e lhe pediria o favor de me colocar essa letra do Cântico de Maria Santíssima aqui, pode ser?
